PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND PRAYER: KP led the pledge and Rick Cranshaw said the prayer. This being a club assembly, Rick wasnt totally surprised, but had very little time to prepare his thoughts for the prayer. That said, it was very professionally done. He covered all the compulsory items and his delivery was smooth. High marks all around except of course from the Russian judge. 9.4 For the effort.

KP shared a moment in which he visited Jonis office on official business and was informed that he would find Joni way in the back. As he approached the door he heard Joni say Duncan! Get back on the bed. Well KP is not the shy retiring type, but he wondered if he were walking into something he shouldnt and why was Duncan Leith here anyway? Just then Joni opened the door to reveal her dog, Duncan, who was recovering from surgery with bed rest prescribed by the Vet. Whew, that was close!
Gary Hough shared a story involving a bunch of women, alcohol, a piano bar, a police officer and a newspaper. The names have been changed to protect the guilty.

Dee Dee had some interesting exchanges to report from the Sugarbush Rotary Club the parent club of our Outhouse project. We have continued to exchange ideas with them for increased project success.
KP passed out attendance reports for Joni.
So far we have 25,765 income [before expenses] from the outhouse.
KP reports that we are down to 37 active members and we would like members to suggest possible candidates for membership to KP.

Jim and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out. When the Director became aware of Edna's heroic act, she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as she now considered her to be mentally stable. When she went to tell Edna the news she said, "Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged; since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of another patient, I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness. The bad news is, Jim, the patient you saved, hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead." Edna replied, "He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry. How soon can I go home?"
