troops in Iraq. Items will be sent to Dave Dunphy
who is serving as Liaison Officer to Coalition forces in Iraq.

Copenhagen Snuff in
a tin ("Even if the service member doesn't dip snuff, they will be a
hero and have more power than the Commanding Officer if they have a
'log' (10 cans) of 'Hagen.' A large percentage of infantry use this
stuff and it is hard to get. The stuff they do get comes in a
plastic can and tastes terrible. The 'Stateside Hagen' is the most
powerful bargaining tool in a field environment!")

Holden Days - August 27th, 2005
Outhouse on Display,
Main Street, Holden, MA. Members are
urged to help out at the Rotary club booth and with the
outhouse - photos to be taken and graffiti to be
written.
Rotary Clock on Main Street, Holden
The cast bronze Rotary Gears and plaque are on back order and
will be shipped someday for attachment to our clock on Main Street in Holden.
Walter Reed Hospital Donations
Checks for Gary Hough's "Troop Visit" to Walter Reed Hospital
in Washington, D.C. are due as soon as possible. Gary is leaving on the 19th
of January. Make your check our to Wachusett Area Rotary and indicate on the
check: "Walter Reed Army Medical Center".
Matching Funds - up to $1,500. are going to be made available from the
"District" for donations totaling $3,000. or more.

October 15th was the deadline for grocery
donations to the Food Pantry
